SRINAGAR: Life was crippled last week on a bandh call given by All Parties Kashmir Hurriyat Conference (APKHC) to protest against the killing of Christian Ostro of Norway by his captors AlFaran’ on August 13, reports agencies Shops and business establishments remained closed and traffic was off the road in Srinagar and all other major towns of the Kashmir valley on the APKHC bandh call to protest against the assassination of Ostro by “AlFaran” after 39 days captivity. Allstate, Central and semi government offices wore a deserted look as. employees stayed away from work in response to the bandh call, Most educational institutions have declared ‘summer vacation from August 1020.
