JALANDHAR: Parkash Singh Badal president Akali Dal (Badal) has asked the police not to execute the “unjust orders of the government to kill innocent people in fake encounters.”
Addressing partymen staging a dharna to protest police repression and the anti-people and anti-farmers policies of the government Badal said all the fundamental rights recognized by the UNO had been taken away from the people who were being “treated like captives of the police administration in the state”
Badal also charged that district police chiefs had been given instructions to promote only those constables who had killed at least five militants.
