NEW DELHI: Indian Home (internal affairs) Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed said the government would work for a negotiated settlement to resolve the Ram Janam BhoomiBabri Masjid issue.
In a statement after assuming office here, he said the government’s aim would be to work for a negotiated settlement so that communal harmony is preserved without new tensions being created.
