AMRITSAR: The Babbar Khalsa International has administered a strong warning to traditional Akal against holding an enquiry into the murder of a Mann Dal activist Baldev Singh Lang more than a year ago. In a press release the B-K.I. said that Lang had been killed by the BIKA. Because he was eager to contest election in the state Assembly and had also been collecting money in the name of the B.K.I.

The BK.I further stated that is action against Lang had nothing to do with Tohra whom the militant group regarded as a fist rate opportunist.”

The B.K.I . Therefore asked the traditional Akalis to stop their games under cover of holding the Lang enquiry.

The so-called enquiry was initiated at the instance of Simranjit Singh Mann and had been backed by A S.S F. Manjit Mann in fact had recently described Lang as a martyr

Manjit Singh had first denied support to the enquiry idea but on release from jail recently supported the proposal. Chief Minister Beant Singh had remarked that the “panthic organizations” were really doing the governments job” by holding the enquiry against Babbar.
