“Our freedom fighters are at their places and are ready to fight on harder than ever. If they (Hindu) think they can suppress, crush and enslave the Sikh people, the fighting for liberation will go on for years,” declared Babbar Khalsa chief Vadhawa Singh Babbar,
We have stepped up in 1995, with the renewed vigor and commitment to rid ourselves of the Hindu shackles. The Sikh freedom fighters would be constrained to resort to strike back if the Indian authorities continue to overlook or ignore it’s just right to vacate it’s land and territories – “Khalistan,’ he stressed, “The enemy needed a lesson for bowing down to our demand for a separate sovereign state,” he added.
In a message faxed from the office of Babbar Khalsa, he said “We are the victims of traditional Hindu tactics, policy of political betrayals and hypocrisy.”
“The Congress leaders had backed out of their promises made during the partition, the rejection of the Indian Constitution’ by two Sikhs representative (member Constituent Assembly), since it had replaced the British Crown with the Indian center, selective discriminatory provisions against Sikhs and army operation at Golden Temple in June 1984, provides legality to our cause and right to resist to Indian brutalities and aggression,” he maintained.
“Our freedom movement is purely indigenous and has been mobilized by the Sikhs over the years and all Indians tricks to weaken it’s tempo will fail as Sikhs are determined to do it for the future of their generations.” He added, “it is an in deniable reality that the liberation of Khalistan is not an overnight happening. “No time limit can be specified for attaining our goal.”
“Our movement for independence is very much alive, as it has entered its next phase. India should transfer assets to us and quit Khalistan,” he declared. Commenting on present Akali Unity, Babbar said.” There are many such unities in the past and the Sikh masses have known their outcome, they know the character the understanding and the objectives of these leaders who are involved in the process of present unity. Different factional leaders have divergent strategies and it is observed that instead of backing up Sardar Mann’s call for Sovereign State, Akali leaders are dragging further behind from the goal of Amritsar Akali Dal’s declaration of May, 1994. However, we, appreciate Simranjit Singh Mann’s stance on Khalistan.”
“We are struggling with the aid process. There is a saying” An Army marches on its stomach.” We have been collecting pennies to give live to our movement. How long and how effective can a movement be when there is hardly any financial support? Wadhawa Singh has called upon the Sikhs to strengthen those striving for the liberation of Khalistan.
