KHARAR: Bhai Jasmir Singh Lalli and Bhai Jaspal Singh Pal in a joint statement said that they had killed four Punjab constables including one head constable patrolling the Bhakra Mainline canal near Panjkoha village. An S.P. and eight other policemen were injured. The militant leaders also claimed that they killed two men of the Indian army and injured another in an encounter near Sanghol village. The militants suffered no causality in this encounter. They also said that another Indian army man had been killed near Kalewal. This news was suppressed by the Indian authorities, the militants added.
