CANDIGARH, India; More than twenty persons were killed on the morning of July 30 in the encounter with Border Security force along the Indo Pakistan border. 18 persons suspected to be Pakistani National were killed in a separate encounter with BS.F. Ambush party in the Khem Karan Sector Punjab. Ac. cording to a report from BSF headquarters, two suspected infiltrators sent by Pakistan authorities were killed in an encounter with the patrol party on Rajasthan border also, B.S.F. Spokesman said that five a mush parties have been deployed at short distances in the area of Mainsail, The first encounter took place after the midnight when the ambush party noted number of people coming to Indian side from Pakistan. The spokesman said that the two of the three were killed after an exchange of fire when they advanced 250 yards into India. According to a spokesman of Punjab police no weapon was recovered from all those killed in the alleged encounter with the B.S.F. Party. B.S.F. has ordered enquiry into the encounter.
