NEW DELHI: Early trends of election results from UP., India’s most populated state, confirm the indications given by opinion polls I as the largest party in the new Assembly. But the secular parties might join hands to beat B.J.P.’s efforts to form government. In this effort, Indian Defence Minister Yadav and the B: S.P will play an important role in the post poll scenario. Yadav is placed comfortably to win a constituency. His lead appears to be unbeatable, early trends show that the B.J_P. will not be able to win an absolute majority in the 225member house. A coalition government appears to be inevitable.
