CARUTHERS: The Third Annual Azad Sports Club Tournament was held March 23 and 24 at the Caruthers High School. Of the 12 teams from all over the Central valley and the Bay Area New Edition of Fresno won the coveted first prize The Azad Club fielded three teams. Azad was runner up and Bad Boys were third.
The other teams were Running Rivals of San Joaquin New Edition (Fresno) Lethal Weapon (Stockton) Yuba City Sports Club (Yuba City) Full Force (Fresno) Golden Hawks (Stockton) Young Guns (Yuba City) Untouchables (Fairfield) Bad Boys (San Francisco).
Azad club organizers barr Py Raminder Atwal and Jasbir Purewal were appreciative of the community which has supported their efforts They plan to hold many more such events in the future.
The prizes were given away by local leaders S Charanjit Singh Bath and Charanjit Singh Sahota.
