MADRAS (PTI): Premier P.V Narasimha Rao’s visit to Madras capital of the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu on Nov.4 has been postponed as he is pre-occupied with efforts to settle the Ayodhya issue according to a Tamil Nadu Congress-1 Committee (TNCC-I) Press release.
The release said TNCC-I chief K Ramamurthy now in Delhi had conveyed T ABN the PCC-I headquarters here.
Rao had earlier agreed to unveil the statue of former premier Rajiv Gandhi here on Nov.4 it said adding the function would be held on some other date convenient to him.
