- Avtar Singh Bhullar was born to Sardarni Karnail Kaur and S. Gurdev Singh at V. Siloani District Ludhiana on June 21, 1948
Avtar was hardly three years old when his father died. These unlucky children were then taken care of by their uncle S, Nahar Singh Bhullar.
Avtar Bhullar got matriculation certificate from Khalsa School Raikote in 1969. After that, he jumped into the traditional family profession of agriculture up to 1977.
The same year, Bhullar’s migrated to USA. He had to face the similar initial difficulties and odds before he could settle down in Agricultural profession at Fresno,
Avtar also looks after the interests of his brother-in-law, Charan Jit Bath, besides managing his own farm. Bhullar was married to Mrs. Harjinder Kaur in 1968. Bhullar’s are the proud parents of Harjinder Kaur, Pardeep Bhullar, Kirandeep Kaur, and Sandeep Kaur. Pardeep who topped in his school last year maintained his position by getting 4.GPA.
Avtar Bhullar is a committed Sikh. The family donated $3000.00 for the construction of Gurwara Sahib at Caruthers.
Chinda Chima
I asked Chhinda what his real name is He said what the use is if people cannot associate me with that name so he prefers to be called Chhinda.
He came from Chima Khurd in Jullundur District to Yuba City and ever since he is in that area. Most of his life is spent in Lodi and Galt. He is a hard worker. He is a friend of friends and is a man of his words.
For the last 45 years he has been associated with the Gurdwara Sahib and is devoted to the sanctity of Gurdwaras. He is married and is father of three sons who are very obedient and ambitious.
