BEDFORD: Trustees of Amrit Sandhu Scholarship Foundation have named two students as the recipients of $1,250.00 each educational grant of the academic year 1992-93, This is the. first year that the Foundation has awarded the scholarships to the students who in trustees opinion, best suited the criterion established.
The recipients were selected from applicants throughout the United States.
Jasdeep Kaur Mann of Warren, Michigan is a student of Master’s degree program in “Industrial Design’ at the Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. She will be specializing in automotive styling as a prospective career.
Jasvinder Singh Sidhu of East Lansing, Michigan has been accepted in the M.D. degree -program at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, He was accredited with several academic scholarships during his undergraduate degree program at the University of Michigan and the Michigan State University.
The scholarships were awarded at the Akhand Path Bhog ceremony held at the New England Sikh Study Circle Gurdwara Sahib, Milford, Massachusetts on July 19,1992 in memory of Amrit Sandhu.
