From News Dispatches KAPURTHALA: Romesh Kumar, a shopkeeper of Hothian village under Dhilwan police station, has lodged a complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police seeking action against an ASI.
Romesh Kumar alleged that the Assistant Sub Inspector came to his shop on July 12, beat him up and snatched Rs 1900 from him. The ASI accused him of having collected the amount by selling illicit liquor.
The police official threatened him of dire consequences if he Reported the matter to the higher authorities.
