NEW DELHI: Arun Shourie, voluble editor of the national daily, ‘the Indian Express’ has been removed from the editorship of the paper.

While the management has not announced this yet, Mr Shourie confirmed Monday night that he was out, He said no reason had been given for his removal.

The high profile editor had rejoined the Indian Express in January, 1987. Earlier he was with paper from January 1979 to November 1982.
