NEW DELHE: Talks are on between Arun Nehru and the BJP leaders about the entry of the former Union Minister in the Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP sources do not rule out his joining the party some time before the general elections, Nehru has met BJP leaders LK. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi several times recently.
Though the decision is yet to be clinched, Nehru may be fielded from Rae Bareilly in Uuar Pradesh if he Joins the party.
BJP President Advani tried to skirt the issue when questioned about it “Who is not trying to enter the party?” he quipped. “Even Narasimha Rao is supposed to be with us.”
Advani admitted that Nohru had met him “twice or thrice recently.”
