WASHINGTON D.C: The resounding vote for freedom at the polls in Punjab is a vote that needs to be heard around the world. Freedom is a basic right for all mankind and the Sikhs crave it as much as any people. Therefore, let peaceful mass demonstrations be the order of the day in Punjab and boycotts of government services where possible and the nonpayment of taxes, said Gurmit Singh Aulakh in a press statement “Let there be demonstrations to protest the police searches and the metal detectors at the entrance to the Golden Temple. Let there be demonstrations to demand the arrest of all police officials and deputy commissioners, like Julio
Ribeiro, K.P.S. Gill and SSP Govind Ram.
“I call for the arrest of Rajiv Gandhi and H.K.L. Bhagat, Jagdish Tytler, Dharam Dass Shastri and others known to be the perpetrators and instigators of the New Delhi Massacre of thousands of innocent Sikhs in 1984. Rajiv Gandhi has recently released Mann, one of the Sikh freedom candidates, whom you have elected been held in jail and tortured for four years at Rajiy Gandhi’s whim, because he dared to tell the truth about Operation Bluestar. He has no need of Gandh’s pardon or pity.
””Wemust keep the pressure on New Delhi and translate our fervor for freedom into political action. That means taking to the streets and organizing these needed nonviolent demonstrations. Sikhs have always fought for freedom, for justice and for equality. Joining forces with the New Delhi government will not bring us this freedom.”
“Winning seats in Parliament will not win us freedom. In fact, when Khalistan is free, my firm belief is that India as a unified nation will begin to fall apart. Kashmir will break away, followed by the Tamilspeaking southern states of India. We are likely to see a chain reaction. I foresee the formation of an Asian Economic Market on the Indo-Pakistan subcontinent, like the EEC.
