HOSHIARPUR: Amy and paramilitary forces will remain in Punjab till the complete normalcy is restored This was stated by K-P.S. Gill DGP while talking to newsmen at police Recruits training center at Jahan Khelan 8 km from here last week. He said that about 100 companies of paramilitary forces had already been sent back from Punjab.
Referring to the appointment of police commissioners at Amritsar Ludhiana and Jalandhar he said a draft act in this connection had been Prepared and an Ordinance in this regard would be issued soon
Earlier K.P.S.Gill took the salute from 488 recruits who participated in the passing out parade at the center. He gave away prizes to the trainees
Addressing the gathering Gill asked the jawans to perform their duties with honesty dedication and give justice to the public.
H.S Goraya SP. in charge of the training center said these recruits had especially been trained in the armed combat handling of latest weapons and field craft. He also highlighted the various achievements of the center
