SANGRUR: Akali Dal T President Jagdev Singh Talwandi said that the situation in Punjab would not improve unless the Anandpur Sahib resolution was accepted by the central government.

He was speaking at Gurdwara Singh Sabha in Sangrur. He added that Punjab crisis could not be resolved till Rajiv regime was in power.

He said Congress I had offered to share power with him but he had refused to do so because the Sikhs are being discriminated.

The Longowal faction was a “puppet of the centre” and eighty percent of its workers and leaders had joined the Akali Dal T he added.

He demanded the release of Gurcharan Singh Tokra and former Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal.
