CHANDIGARH, India: The leader of the Akali Dal (Badal) legislative group Captain Amarinder Singh has called upon the Singh Sahibs not to initiate any move for Akali Dal Unity so long Mr. Sunjit Singh Barnala does not resign both from Chief Minister Ship and party President ship. He took strong exception to the role being played by Singh Sahibs in this respect. Talking to the reporters at Chandigarh, Mr. Amarinder Singh, disclosed that Jathedar Kir pal Singh had addressed a letter to the Singh Sahibs regarding unity move. He also made it clear that he would not meet Singh Sahibs so Tong Barnala does not resign from both positions. “The day Barnala tenders his resignation”, there would automatically come unity in Akali Dal”, he asserted.
