NEW DELHI: Ghulam Rasool Kar, president of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress (I) Committee has urged the Center to convene an all-party meeting ‘on the situation in the state” to enlist support towards solution of the problems faced by people.
Mi Kar, who met the Prime Minister, .V. Narasimha Rao here on Friday, asked to evolve broad ‘economic measures to uplift the people of the state.
