NEW DELHI: An all-party meeting on the strife-torn state of Punjab will be held at Ludhiana on January 11, Prime Minister Vishwanath Partap Singh announced in the upper house of parliament.
Premier Singh invited the leaders of the Congress-I to join the meeting.
He said the leaders of all parties should go to Punjab to jointly address the people there.
The prime Minister describes his visit to Amritsar, soon after assuming Prime Minister-ship, as” a pilgrimage”.
