NEW DELHI: The govt will convene an all-party meeting by the middle of this month to discuss the vexed Ram JanambhoomiBabri Masjid issue in the light of communal tension in TERY, parts of the country.

The date of the meeting which was earlier fixed for Oct 15, will now be decided later. The new date has been hesitated on account of the forthcoming visit of the African National Congress leader, Mr Nelson Mandela, who is scheduled to visit India on Oct 15.

The Home Minister, Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, told newsmen that the all party meeting would be proceeded by separate talks with the leaders of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Babri Masjid Action Committee.
