CHANDIGARH: The Shiromant ‘Akali Dal (Mann) has given a call to observe January 26 as Black-Day. The Akali Dal has urged the Sikhs to boycott the Republic Day functions being organized as respect to ‘The Akali Dal leaders have further called the Sikhs to hoist the black flags on their houses. It may be recalled that Mr.Simranjeet Singh Mann President of the Akali Dal had said that India has two Constitutions first one is meant for Sikh’s which has only Black Laws and the second one made by Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar for rest of the citizens of country.
The Shiromani Akali Dal has further called upon the Sikhs to wear black turbans on January 26 in protest against the violation of Human Rights and excesses on the Sikhs Meanwhile the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate of Ropar has extended the judicial remand of Mr.Simranjeet Singh Mann President and Charanjit Singh Walia Secretary General of Mann Dal till February 2.1994.
