Healed! BBC camera team got a taste of the other India during @ recent sojourn to do a story on the esoteric discipline Tantra. The project involved Scary lips to a variety of horrifying locales, including burning ghats, said to be a favorite haunt of Tantriks, The much shaken “gora sahibs” were about to wind up their assignment when they landed at the home of Assam Governor Loknath Misra. Reputedly a highly proficient tantrik, It was then that the team’s cameraman discovered that he had contracted a particularly nasty case of the rashes, On learning that many flock regularly to Misra’s abode for treatment for a variety of physical and mental ailments, the lens man figured he had nothing to lose and Spelt out his problem to the Governor. Whereupon the sufferer was given a glass of water, which he promptly quaffed. Lo and behold, the pesky rashes vanished in a trice. And @ maha impressed Englishman mimicked his country’s former subjects as he promptly fell at Misra’s feet in artitude and adoration.
