Chandigarh: Mr. Harinder Singh Kahlon convener of the All India Sikh Student Federation announced at Amritsar that members and activists of A.LS.S.F would jam traffic throughout Punjab and Chandigarh in January 10 addressee a addressing a press Conference Mr. Kahlon said that they would lock traffic in Punjab in order to Press their demands for the release of Sikh youths and Army deserters.
He said the federation was demanding the release of Sikh youth detained in the various jails of the country, reinstatement of Sikh army deserters, withdrawal of paramilitary forces from Panjab, so rapping of black laws and stop page of SYL. Mr. Kahlon announced that the blockade of traffic would not affect some category of people, such as press and the sick people,
Mr. Kahlon administered a warring to Shiv Sena Workers and advised them not to indulge in hooliganism, He was referring to Shiv Sean’s activities in Gurdaspur district and said that if Shiv Sena did not stop indulging in these activities the AISSF would give them a befitting reply. He also condemned the Punjab government for arresting H.S. Ghuman an active worker of the Federation against whom the changes of posting objection list. Posters have been framed.
