NEW YORK: An AISSF activist Iqbal Singh of Jalandhar district was on October 24, granted political asylum in the court of Justice Page.
Arrested on November 5, 1988 in New York Iabal Singh was represented by Attorney Ms M.E. Gill, Iqbal Singh said he had been greatly helped by s Gurmit Singh Aulakh of the Council of Khalistan.
