CHANDIGARH India: Police is suspected to have Killed S Sarbjit Singh Ropar the acting convener of All India Sikh Student Federation (Kahlon group) He is said to be missing from Amritsar since August 28. According to his friends he was going to Amritsar from Jalandhar on August 27 with his companion S Hardip Singh.
His father S Nawab Singh DSP (traffic) disclosed that he had left for Amritsar to participate in a meeting Sarbjit Singh’s family members suspect that he was arrested from Amritsar and then taken to some undisclosed place and shot dead there. Police have not as yet confirmed this story. Police have however come out with another version and are blaming the members of the Manbir Singh Chehrus Khalistan Commando Force for his murder. According to police sources Khali tan Commando Force members suspected that Gen Manbir Singh’s arrest was the result of information supplied by Sarbjit Singh to the police
S. Sarbjit Singh’s family members dismiss this theory as a pure concoction by the police to cover up their own act of murdering him. Sarbjit Singh’s body has not been found as yet.
