CHANDIGARH: Various factions of the All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) have passed a resolution demanding the formation of Khalistan and an end to the alleged police repression in Punjab.
Sarabjit Singh Sohal, the newly appointed general secretary of AISSF Manjit faction and other leaders told journalists here that the resolution was passed at the Hola Mohalla celebrations at Anandpur Sahib (Ropar) on Sunday.
Various groups on the AlSSF including the Chawla and. Mehta factions and the Akali Dal (Mann) chief Mr. S.S Mann were present when the resolution was adopted.
Sohal said a committee would be announced soon to work out the details for the proposed Khalistan.
