NEW DELHI(PTI): Indian airlines has put off its scheduled airlink to Central Asia following an alert: sounded by the Montreal-based Integral Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The ICAO has warned International Airlines that threats to aircraft existed in overflying Afghanistan, which is almost in a grip of an intense factional fight for supremacy
Some of the warlords even have jet aircraft. Recently a number of civilian and MiG-21 aircraft have been shot down in severe fighting all over the land locked country, which can not be avoided while flying to Central Asia.
