PESHAWAR, MARCH 17, REUTER — the main Afghan Muslim guerrilla alliance suspended plans on Thursday to send a delegation to Afghanistan peace: talks in Geneva after what it called a negative Soviet response to the idea.

Rebel spokesman Shah Mahmud Muzaffar of the main Moslem guerrilla new alliance had said on Wednesday a rebel team planned to leave for the United Nations sponsored talks, although no date had been set.
