AYODHIA: B.J.P chief L.K. Advani again reached this trouble spot to declare that the Babri mosque would have to be demolished and a Ram temple constructed at the site, whatever the consequences. The Hindu fundamentalist, V.H.P., has already fired December 6 as the next date when the operation demolition would be restarted. The V.P. Singh government had earlier on October 30 foiled an attempt by the BJPVHP combine to destroy the Muslim place of worship. Advani reiterated that Muslims should take away their mosque five kilometers away from the proposed Ram temple. The fresh Hindu fundamentalist moves come in the wake of certain observations by Prime Minister Shekhar in the LokSabha three days ago. He said he too was a Hindu and that he was proud of his religion. Shekhar went to the extent of claiming that the Hindu religion was superior to other religions in so far as it is known to be more tolerant. The Prime Minister, at the same time, asserted that the Babri mosque should not be demolished.
