WASHINGTON, DC: A dinner party and fundraising victory celebration was held here for U.S. Congressman Dan Burton. Organized and hosted by Dr. Paramjit Singh Ajrawant the function was a successful honor de of stimulating conversation, information, fine Indian food and Scottish bagpipe music in honor of Mr. Burton’s heritage.
Mr. Burton was commended for his unstinting support of the fight for Khalistan and his work to Congressional attention to the issue.
Dr. Ajrawant and Dr. Gurmit Singh Aulakh provided a history of the Sikh Struggle since that fateful day in 1984 when the Indian army Attacked Darbar Sahib, in Amritsar. Further information On the Sikh’s history was given by the youth leader, Paramjit Singh Sekhon.
The Congressman later thanked the many guests for their Support and pledged his continued efforts on behalf of the Sikh struggle.
