Sir,

Professor IJ. Singh’s review ‘was precise and pithy. In very few words he has discussed the various points the book makes. I feel his assessment is very accurate. The efforts to divide Sikhs since 1978 are still continuing especially in Canada and now in the U.S. also.

It is enough for those in the know that the findings of the two journalists are well researched and. logical. Rarely is the hard evidence in such cases. What is important is that a damning case against the Indian government has been made and India’s silence speaks for itself.  I also wish to point out that the McAndrew in the review has been referred to as McBride. Does the WSN have a policy of reviewing the same book many times over as in the case of McLeod’s books? I didn’t see the point I doubt anyone even noticed the distortion in Sikh doctrine at this crucial juncture of our troubled history. Our very existence is threatened in India and our focus must be to overthrow the unbearable Hindu yoke first, there have been McLeod’s all along and they will be around a hundred years hence. It is we who make them important and well-known. I will look forward to reviews by Prof IJ. Singh.

(The error in the name of the author of the book Soft Target Brian McAndrew appearing as McBride crept in inadvertently and is regretted —Editor).
