Washington D.C.: At 12:00Noon (EST), (according to Constitutional Decree) January 20, 1993, William (Bill) Jefferson Clinton took the Presidential Oath of Office, and the “Changing of the Guard” was official. Asa grateful and gracious Clinton said “Thank You” and “Good Bye™ to President George Bush for his many years of Government service, the postwar generation took its nightfall place in the halls of leadership. The many parades and galas that mark the inauguration of a new presidential term are common. But, in this case, they also mark the end of 12 years of Republican control of the executive branch and a contentious relationship with a democratically controlled congress.
This inauguration signals a returned to what many hope will be a time of renewed patriotism under a president whose looks, speeches and inspiration seem to come from

We can well imagine that our new leader will repeal those words of Kennedy’s that inspired whole generation: “Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country.’
