FARIDKOT: Punjab chief minister Beant Singh who had intense rivalry against Health Minister Harcharan Singh Brar has now made up with him, according to a report. In fact, the differences between the two had forced the chief minister last year to change Brar’s irrigation and power portfolio. What seem to have prompted the chief minister to patch up with Brar is Beant Singh’s growing differences with Manunder Singh Bitta, a youth Congress (I) leader, on the one hand and Jagmeet Singh Brar and Bir Devindér Singh on the other.
