JALANDHAR: Rajinder Singh Sparrow, a retired major general and former Akali Minister, died here, on April 19. He was 83.

Sparrow was admitted (0 the Military hospital, Jalandhar cantonment a few days ago after he developed some old age complications. He breathed his last at about 12:30 a.m. in. the hospital,
