DHAKA: Bangladesh authorities sounded & country wide alert and scaled all exit routes as the police continued to search for the controversial feminist writer Tashima Nasreen police sources said
Security forces at Dhaka Sylhet Chittagong international airport were alerted and all other exit routes put under special vigilance to prevent a possible escape by Nasreen the sources added.
She is yet to be arrested. But we are continuing to search for her. She has gone into hiding said police sources in Moti Jheel police station.
The 32-year-old writer could not be contacted at her ninth floor posh apartment in Shanti nagar a downtown Dhaka locality.
