God thus spoken to me: I take you as My Begotten Son. Go to the world and found the order of Khalsa, to aid the cause of Good and to thwart Evil.” (Guru Gobind Singh, Bachitar Natak)

Khalsa was established on April 13, 1699 by Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Let’s follow the path of Guru by taking Amrit, the Heavenly Nectar, and join the Khalsa because: Baptism of the double-edged sword is the key to easement of the complexities and pains of life (Bhai Gurdas Singh)

And let’s all become bearers of the five Ks: Kes (unshorn hair), Karha (iron bracelet), Kangha (comb), Kashera (special breeches). And Kirpan (sword) as they are must for a Sikh.

Khalsa is my own special form. I reside in a Khalsa. (Guru Gobind Singh)

On this auspicious day, let’s all pray to the Almighty and pledge to be united so that we can fight the oppressors of the Sikh Nation.
