HARDWAR: An army of Ram Bhakts would capture the land Acquired by the Center for constructing the Ram temple if Ram Janam bhoomi at the govt did not hand over the site to them.

A congregation of activists from different Hindu organizations endorsed this resolution on the concluding day of the special fifth Session of Dharma Sansad on the banks of Ganga Panthdweep here. This phase of Ram Janmabhoomi movement described by leaders as Kahja kare abhiyan (capture Campaign) would be launched with the Sant yatras commencing from Vijayadashmi on October 14.

The resolution moved by Swami Vamdev President Ram Janama bhoomi Nyas and seconded by Acharya Dharmendra declared the acquisition of land illegal. …if said delegation of sants would meet the President after the yatras and urge him to declare a date for commencing construction of the temple failing which crores of Ram Bhats would occupy the Ram Janama bhoomi site.

The rationale for the resolution was that the actions of the Center had given no indication of any intent to fulfill the promise of constructing a temple. On the contrary it seemed to be bent upon creating obstacles in the path of achieving this goal. Setting up the Ramalaya Trust was an indication of this design. Further said VHP Central Secretary Onkar Bhave even the trust cannot do anything till there was a court order for maintaining status quo on the land.
