GUWAHATI: The Anti-Talk faction of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) has established contacts in Nepal for logistic support sources said here on Jan
The sources said the presence of some bases of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in Kathmandu had considerably eased the ULPA cadres problems most underground leaders of various insurgent outlets use the bases in Kathmandu they added.
They sail the anti-talk faction of ULPA was using its Nepal contacts to regroup after maintaining a low profile for nearly a year.
Besides ULFA the United Liberation Front of Seven Sisters (ULFSS) and the Bodo Security Force (BSF) procure weapons from these bases.
There are also some LTTE bases in Moreh a Tamil-dominated town on the Indo-Myanmar border in Manipur the sources said there was a nexus between some of the insurgent groups operating in the region and the LTTE.
