SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Governor, Gen (retd.) K.V. Krishna Rao, has said that elections in the state can only be held if the atmosphere is conducive.
According to Gen Rao, unless the atmosphere was positive, any talk of elections in the trouble tom state would be futile. “We should not rush through. A conducive atmosphere for elections has to be created first,” he told a group of journalists from Delhi.
