A Modesto woman pleaded with her kidnappers to “please stop,” because she had given birth only six days earlier.
But instead the six men called her a liar and raped her, police say.
Six suspects were arrested early Saturday Oct.22nd, in connection with the kidnapping and gang rape of the 27yearold woman. The victim reported that she was kidnapped by three of the men Friday evening as she was walking from her boyfriend’s house to her home in south Modesto, deputies Said.
The victim said the kidnappers grabbed her and forced her into their car, They pushed her down on the floor of the 1989 four door Chevrolet and drove to a mural area, where they picked up three more men, sheriff’s Lt. Art Voortman said.
The six men then drove the victim to an orchard off Whitmore Ayenue, where all of them raped her, he said.
After the attack, the men drove the victim to a Ceres industrial area near Morgan Road and Rockefeller Drive. The victim Jumped out when one of the men Opened the car door.
A Ceres police officer happened to be driving by and the woman flagged him down. When he Stopped, the Chevrolet sped off. The officer radioed another Ceres officer and the two Stopped the Chevrolet and arrested the six men, Voorman said, No Weapons were found. .
The victim was treated at a Modesto hospital for injuries suffered in the attack and was released, deputies said.
Booked in County jail for investigation of kidnapping and rape were Major Samra,2 1, Harpreet Kalket, 22, and Gurdip Sandhu, 21, all of Livingston; Paramjit Bassi, 24, 0f Renton, Wash.; Amrick Singh, 24, OF Atwater, and Gurject Bains, 23, of Delhi.
