The known Sikh Artist Hardev Singh has been working on a series of original lithographs based on the spirit of Gurbani, He has produced numerous portfolios in the first few years. One such Portfolio is the one named Baramaha Tukhari.

Recently with efforts of the Punjab Heritage Foundation based in Washington DC and Ontario Canada this set of twelve prints has been produced in a book form with original translated by the eminent Sikh Scholar Dr. Rishpal Singh Avila.

The limited edition of 100 copies of the book entitled “Baramaha Tukhari” Homage to the Great verse of Guru Nanak contains color lithographs and is numbered and signed by the artist.

The book begins with four prints as evocation followed by the foreword and introduction and then the text in Punjabi with English translation of each of the month facing which is the lithograph for each of the month. In closing there are another four prints elucidating the seasons.

The book is unique so far as it is the first time that something like this has been produced in the Sikh World. It can be ordered from the Punjab Heritage Foundation at following two address. Recommended for every Sikh household
