VALLEJO CA: S Malkiat Singh JP of Bharoli village in Jalandhar passed away after a brief illness. He was 73.
He left India for Fiji in 1959 and came to the US seven years ago.
S Malkiat Singhs cheerfulness and his spiritual knowledge will be sorely missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Gurbachan Kaur two sons Satwant Singh and Gurmit Singh A third son Kashmir Singh died a few years ago; daughters-in-law Gurmit Kaur and Surinder Kaur daughters Gurmit Kaur and Satwant Kaur and brothers Kundan Singh of Surrey Canada and Karnail Singh of Fiji.
S Malkiat Singh had 10 grandchildren.
Bhog and antim Ardas will be performed at the Gurdwara Sahib Sacramento on Saturday June 29 at 1 p.m.
