GARDENGROVECA: President Bush paid special visit to Orange County on Father’s day June 16,1991 to commend the contributions of Asian immigrants in the United States He admired hard work goodness kindness family values and free enterprise. Asian American students are excelling more in education than any other group he said in his Address

He mentioned that growth of business is at rise at the fastest rate. Transpacific trade has surpassed the transatlantic trade He congratulated Asian immigrants for their contributions in economy ideas and ideals. Bush spoke about the human rights all Over the world

The Sikhs distinguished them: selves among 40000 people gathered at the Mile Square Park Garden Grove in dress and contributions. Most of the Sikh men Wore Saffron Turbans and Sikh ladies Wore saffron dupatas. Seven of the Sikhs sat in the clergy (Second largest group) Wearing Kesari turbans and robes and flowing beards who looked saintly in appearance. They were seated next to the Presidential stage Most of the Sikhs carried banners welcoming Mr .Bush. Some carried Khalsa and American flags as well. Mr Bush responded positively by waving hand and eye contacts with the Sikh representatives

Dr.Harbans Singh Sraon worked full time for number of days to coordinate number of tasks of the Welcoming committee He supplied refreshments for hundreds of volunteers on Guru Anjan Dev.’s Martyrdom day to maintain Sikh tradition. Dr.  Sraon mobilized Sikh community from Orange County by organizing transportation. Malkiat Singh Sidhu and Sarbjit Singh Mann Organized Sikh community from Los Angeles country and contributed to the presidential reception overall the Sikh community was well represented as a distinctive groups.
