EDMONTON: World Sikh Organization’s Edmonton Chapter passed this resolution on June 2 1991. Approved by Sangat of Siri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara Edmonton Alberta on June 9 1991.

The Resolution states in view of the existing conditions we appeal to our National and International Sikh Organizations that we must immediately organize an International panthic unity conference so that we all can be united and determine and decide the clear directives and focus to carry on our struggle towards its goal. We commend Sikh soldiers fighting for the cause of Khalistan and we assure them WSO support is with them. We would also like to openly criticize that we do not approve of the demands for the prices of the martyr’s blood by various self-serving individuals. In our Sikh tradition martyrs’ blood is priceless we also openly endorse every organization whose principle objective is the achievement of Khalistan

We must adhere to the principle “United We Stand Divided We Fall”. WSO openly condemns human rights violations in every part of the world. We criticize the human rights violations of Kashmir and Sikh women and the abuses by the fascist militia.

WSO believes every person living in a free country has a fundamental right to breathe freely and practice his/her religion. We urge the freedom loving countries of the world and the United Nations that all forms of force and pressures must be brought to bear on human rights violating countries.
