Is the conscience of the world exposed to so much evil ever since civilization began finally dead? It had always been difficult to rouse it but it seems the world’s conscience has perhaps been calloused beyond reach.
The Indian government on the admission of its own officers is conducting genocide of Kashmiri Muslims and Sikhs for over a decade now. Just last week 58 Kashmiri women were gang-raped by Indian soldiers. One victim said that a soldier told her he had orders “not to spend more than five minutes in each bed”. The man told to investigate the crimes is on “leave”. Action is never taken against the guilty because it is the Indian government which is guilty. The morale of the police and army is more important than public outrage of the minorities.
A Brigadier rounded up all the Sikh men in several border villages and told them they would all be killed and their women sent away to army camps to change their ‘breed’. Perhaps this Satan had not the eyes to see that he faced only very young boys and very old men. The young men have already been murdered by the Indian state. Sikhs are refusing to get married as there is no security of life for them in India.
The Brahmins who are steering India to hell forget that they are the progeny of the tens of thousands of women being taken away by Muslim invaders who were rescued and restored to their homes by the Sikhs. If the Sikhs could protect the mother’s wives and sisters of those who have now become their tormentors they know how to protect their own women.
History repeats itself. Just as the Mughal Empire is dust the fascist state of India will be consigned to the dustbin of history. With what face will these evil rulers tell their future generations that they could not rule a nation even for half a century? Perhaps they are used to being slaves.
Our efforts to rouse the world have failed so far. Amnesty International and other human rights monitors have not been allowed access to Punjab. Foreign media thrown out when the genocides began are not allowed in again. Of late even the local media is functioning under strict censorship. Three divisions of the army are deployed in three districts of Punjab to do as they will. Hundreds of companies of paramilitary forces have wreaked havoc in every town and village. There are more than 18000 Sikhs in jails most of who have yet to see the insides of a courtroom. The Punjab Human Rights Organisation which raised its voice against the atrocities was sought to be cowed into silence by the murder of the 19-yr-old son of its vice president by the police. A British MP Mr Max Madden told nightmarish horror stories of the situation in Punjab after a visit there last year.
Having failed to break the spirit of the Sikhs by killing over 100000 of them destroying and desecrating their holy shrines India is desperate enough to state its objective publically. The foul-mouthed Brigadier was not threatening or warning the Sikhs with genocide. He was merely stating a well-established fact.
The fascist Indians needed to study history before they embarked on their course to disaster. Oppression strengthens religions. For 500 years the Sikhs have grown progressively stronger with each onslaught against their religion culture and identity. And many have gone the way of Indira Gandhi Gen Dyer Vaidya and Massa Rangar. The Sikhs are getting really angry. They will defend their faith till there is even one Sikh left on the face of this earth. What better way to die than for the holy cause of one’s faith..
