NEW DELHI: The Indian government is actively contemplating the enactment of a legislation to regulate the removal of human organs and tissues for purposes of transplantation.
The deputy minister for health and family welfare Dasai Choudhury said in Parliament the government had taken note of the fact that the sale of human organs in the country was on the increase.
