NEW DELHI: V P Singh does not rule out a split in the Janata Dal or for that matter in the Janata Dai-S and the Congress-I in the process of political realignments taking place in the country even as the Congress-I is making desperate attempts to form a government without elections. Many will come towards a strong leadership the former prime minister said.
It was a relaxed and confident VP Singh who spoke to a reporter after the Janata Dal convention in Puri last week. He felt that the country is headed for new alignments with a new polarization taking place in the polity on the issue of equity.
