The national napkin papers defending the upper caste aggression against the human rights of the oppressed Indians have started getting a taste of their own pudding. To this STA2jati press freedom of the press means freedom to abuse the human rights of over 85% of the population SC/ST/BCs and religious minorities over 85% of the population have been the victims of this jail press which got a warning from the persecuted minorities. During the recent violence on Mandal and Mandir these national newspapers played havoc by their false exaggerated and slanted news reports resulting in thousands of deaths of innocent people all over India. What appeared to be clear cases of murder were described as self-immolations. So much so even the Press Council of India was forced to send a team to investigate the excesses of these newspapers inciting anti-Muslim and anti-SC/ST/BC violence. No less a person than Prime Minister Chandrashekar was forced to say that never before the country’s press was run by so illiterate a set of journalists. In Tamil Nadu the enraged Dalits and BCs burnt the

Indian Express and Hindu vans. The matter became so serious that the Express Marwadi boss dismissed his Nazi editor Arun Shoune for trying to publish a false story on Babri Masjid attributed to the then Prime Minister VP Singh The havoc played by these national newspapers is opening the eyes of the victims of these Nazi newspapers and they are trying to identify the mischief makers. It will be a sad day for India and its national press abusing the freedom of the press assured the Constitution if the victims of this abuse were to copy the following Panthic Committee guidelines. We only wish sanity will prevail this press. -Dalit Voice
